A collage of various vacation and beach photos over a blue ocean background. It includes images of a woman with a dog, a person with a telescope on a boat, a sunset at the beach, a person fishing at sunset, a woman with a girl smiling, a hiker on a trail, some flowers and leaves, a starfish, a fish illustration, and postage stamps with seagulls.

Documenting the places where people
and wildlife meet.

Based dockside at Channel Islands Harbor, Salt + Noelle is a conservation media studio with daily access to California's marine ecosystems. We tell our own stories and help tourism boards, research institutions, and mission-driven brands tell theirs.

All field work follows our Admire from Afar methodology, where documentation occurs at distances that ensure wildlife is never disturbed.

Photo Essays & Field Notes
Our original work. Photo essays from the field, travel guides with custom maps, and iNaturalist recaps. Plus the Founder's Journal, where I document the process of building Salt + Noelle from the water. Covering the California coast and beyond.
