We’re Salt + Noelle LLC - a nature-first studio sharing photography, stories, and thoughtfully made goods. Your privacy is important to us. We collect only the information needed to fulfill orders, improve our website, and stay connected if you’ve opted in.

Where We Operate

Our digital presence is hosted across two primary platforms to ensure a seamless experience:

  • Squarespace: Powers our blog, photo essays, and galleries.

  • Shopify: Powers our secure shop and checkout system.

What We Collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it, such as:

  • Identifiers: Name, email, and shipping/billing addresses.

  • Mobile Info: Phone numbers collected via checkout or marketing opt-ins.

  • Payment Data: Processed securely through Shopify, PayPal, Stripe, or Apple Pay (we do not store full card numbers).

  • Technical Data: Browsing usage, cookies, and advertising identifiers (including pixels from social media).

Our Integrated Tools & Partners

We use trusted third-party services to run our studio and fulfill your orders. These partners process data on our behalf for the following purposes:

  • E-Commerce & Checkout: Shopify

  • Marketing & Creative Reach: Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, Google Ads, and Propeller Ads

  • Communication & Community: Flodesk and HoneyBook

  • Analytics & Performance: Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Metricool, Databox, and Ahrefs

  • Shipping & Logistics: Pirate Ship, USPS, Shopify Shipping, and Simply Framed (for printing, custom framing, and direct-to-customer fulfillment).

  • Site Function & Design: Squarespace, Adobe Fonts, and Google Fonts

  • Affiliate Programs: Amazon Associates

Email Marketing & Newsletters

We use Flodesk to manage our newsletter. By subscribing, you acknowledge your information will be transferred to Flodesk for processing. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting support@saltnoelle.com.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and pixels (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok) to understand site traffic and deliver relevant advertising. We may use behavioral segmenting to personalize our communications. You can adjust your preferences via your browser settings or via the DAA Opt-Out Platform.

Your Rights

Depending on your location (including CA, VA, CO, CT, UT, and the EU/UK), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, email support@saltnoelle.com. We will acknowledge requests within 10 days and aim to complete them within 30 days.

Children’s Data

We do not knowingly market to or collect data from anyone under 18. Our advertising is targeted to audiences aged 21 and older.

Terms of Service

By using the Salt + Noelle website or purchasing from our shop, you agree to these terms.

1. Products & Fulfillment

All items are made to order. Please allow for reasonable production and shipping times. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates but provide tracking whenever possible.

2. Returns & Refunds

  • Damaged/Incorrect Items: Contact us at support@saltnoelle.com within 14 days of delivery to make it right.

  • Made-to-Order Policy: Because items are custom-made, we do not accept general returns or exchanges for "change of mind."

  • Digital Products: Downloads and templates are non-refundable once delivered.

3. Intellectual Property, Copyright & Trademarks

All content on this site (including photography, illustrations, digital art, designs, copy, and brand identifiers) is the exclusive property of Salt + Noelle LLC and is protected by United States and international laws.

  • Copyright & Registration: All images and stories are © 2026 Salt + Noelle LLC. Our visual assets are registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. We actively monitor for unauthorized use and will pursue infringement to the fullest extent of the law.

  • Trademarks: Admire From Afar™ is a trademark of Salt + Noelle LLC. Unauthorized use of this mark is strictly prohibited.

  • Usage & Licensing: We believe in the power of stories to drive change. If you wish to use our work, please submit a licensing inquiry. We offer sliding-scale licensing tailored for non-profits and community-focused organizations to ensure our work remains accessible to those doing good.

4. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. We strive to resolve disputes amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to mediation in California prior to legal action.
