This Week in the Wild

This week’s wildlife moment stars a sea otter in Elkhorn Slough, caught mid-snack with a crab claw in one paw and zero interest in table manners.

Otters are known for using tools to crack open shellfish, but sometimes? Jaws work just fine. No rock, no napkin - just coastal cuisine at its crunchiest.

Sometimes silly, sometimes quiet…this one was just hungry.
